KMV’s NCC cadet shines at Inter Group Shooting Championship; secures spot in Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Championship

Jalandhar, April 24, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya NCC cadet Palakpreet Kaur delivered an outstanding performance at the Inter Group Shooting Championship held at the NCC Training Academy, Ropar. Representing the 12 Punjab NCC Battalion, Hoshiarpur, she participated in two rigorous training phases and showcased remarkable discipline and excellence. Her dedication paid off as she successfully qualified for the Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Championship, marking a significant achievement for both her battalion and institution. She further represented 2 PB (G) BN NCC, Jalandhar, adding pride to her accomplishment.
Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded Palakpreet’s hard work, commitment, and exemplary representation of the college at the NCC event. She praised the cadet for setting a strong example of leadership and inspiring young women to strive for excellence in NCC and extracurricular activities. Palakpreet expressed heartfelt gratitude to the college for its constant guidance and support, while the Director also appreciated Lt. Sufalica Kalia and the NCC Unit for providing opportunities that help students grow into confident leaders.
