KMV’s MBA students excelling in Corporate Training
Sets Benchmark in Corporate Readiness with Industry-Centric Curriculum
Jalandhar, May 25, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), a pioneer institution in women’s education, has once again proven its mettle in producing corporate-ready leaders as its Master of Business Administration (MBA) students consistently excel in corporate training and competitive industry environments. This outstanding performance is a direct result of the college's deeply integrated experiential learning curriculum, which systematically bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world corporate realities. By embedding intensive industrial training, expert-led mentor sessions, and regular on-site industrial visits directly into the academic framework, KMV ensures that its students develop a comprehensive understanding of contemporary management practices. KMV has uniquely structured its MBA syllabus to prioritise practical readiness alongside core academic excellence. A defining feature of this approach is the dedication of all Saturdays exclusively to holistic student development and corporate interface.
During these specialised sessions, students undergo rigorous workshops focusing on business communication, corporate etiquettes, automated spreadsheet management, and cutting-edge business research methodologies. These weekly skill-building tracks are further reinforced by mandatory industrial internships and live corporate projects, giving students the confidence and agility required to navigate complex business landscapes. MBA students also regularly participate in structured industrial exposure visits organized by the college in order to allow students to observe large-scale supply chain logistics, human resource management, and international quality standards in real time. Furthermore, the college's landmark annual Industry-Academia Meet brings together top-tier corporate professionals from elite banking, retail, and manufacturing sectors, including prominent organisations like ICICI Bank, EY.Com, IBM, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, Bajaj Allianz, Shoppers Stop and representatives from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Moreover, college also organises various expert talks for the students with Expert talks data GDPA Fasteners, MSME Technology Centre, MISSION 100 PUNJAB with UNICEF led paid internships. These industry leaders provide direct mentorship, conduct vital skill-gap assessments, and share invaluable insights into the emerging demands of the global market.
Applauding the students' achievements, Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasised that skill development and self-reliance are the true cornerstones of modern education. She noted that KMV's ultimate goal is to ensure that its young women graduate not just with degrees, but as highly competent, strategic thinkers capable of commanding global corporate spaces. The exceptional performance of the current MBA cohort in high-stakes training environments stands as a proud testament to this vision. Driven by an industry-centric curriculum and supported by an active Placement Cell, KMV continues to pave the way for top-tier career placements, solidifying its position as a benchmark institution for futuristic management education.
