Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Department of Hospitality and Tourism, organized an insightful educational field visit to Adampur Airport for the students of BBA Airlines and Airport Management. The visit was conducted under KMV’s mission to strengthen industry exposure and experiential learning for its students.

Jalandhar, December 7, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Department of Hospitality and Tourism, organized an insightful educational field visit to Adampur Airport for the students of BBA Airlines and Airport Management. The visit was conducted under KMV’s mission to strengthen industry exposure and experiential learning for its students. 
During the visit, students observed the real-time functioning of airport operations including passenger facilitation, terminal management, security procedures, baggage handling systems, and coordination among various airport departments. The airport officials also oriented the students about airside operations, regulatory compliances, and the importance of safety norms in aviation. The field visit proved highly beneficial as it connected classroom learning with practical industry scenarios and helped students understand the complexity and professionalism required in the aviation and hospitality sectors. 
Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, congratulated the Dr. Sunil and Department of Hospitality and Tourism for organizing this practical exposure field visit and encouraged students to continue enhancing their hands-on understanding of the aviation industry. She averred that KMV remains committed to providing holistic, industry-integrated, and skill-based education to prepare students for global careers in hospitality, tourism, and aviation. The department also expressed gratitude to the authorities of Adampur Airport for their cooperation and support.
