KMVites Dazzle with Talent During the Shooting of a TV Program on Campus

Jalandhar, October 30, 2025: The campus of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) came alive with music, rhythm, and excitement as students showcased their artistic brilliance during the shooting of the popular MH-1 TV program “Canteeni Mandeer.”
Staying true to its tradition of providing ample opportunities for student expression, the PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, the Department of Student Welfare, and the ECA Department jointly organized this special event. Students from various departments displayed a vibrant range of performances, filling the campus with infectious energy and enthusiasm.
The program featured soulful poem recitations, melodious singing in Punjabi and Hindi, and captivating dance performances. The celebration reached its peak with spirited presentations of Giddha and Bhangra, which won everyone’s hearts.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the MH-1 channel team for featuring KMV’s talented students and remarked that such initiatives provide an excellent platform for young performers to gain wider recognition. She also appreciated the dedicated efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, along with Sehajpal Singh and Geetika Singh, for successfully organizing the event.
