Jalandhar, August 19, 2025: The SAARTHI Committee of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organized a rally to raise awareness about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, highlighting its key reforms and transformative vision.
The rally was flagged off by Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who addressed around 50 participants. In her remarks, she emphasized the significance of NEP in shaping a progressive, inclusive, and skill-oriented education system for the nation. She also underlined how the policy empowers students with holistic and multidisciplinary learning opportunities.
Students actively participated by carrying placards and raising slogans to promote the core values of NEP, such as flexibility in learning, emphasis on mother tongue, and integration of vocational education. The rally passed through prominent areas around the campus, drawing attention and appreciation from the local community.
Principal Dr. Dwivedi appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and congratulated Coordinator Dr. Madhumeet, along with Co-coordinators Dr. Iqbal Singh, Dr. Monika Rani, and Dr. Prabha, for the successful organization of the event.
