KMV, Jalandhar on Monday organising a Talk on Lala Lajpat Rai.
Jalandhar, October 26, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya – The Heritage Institution’s Dept. of Students Welfare organised an invited talk on Lala Lajpat Rai, the great patriotic and nationalistic leader who had been instrumental in releasing India from the shackles of slavery. Mr.Vijay Nadda, Sangathan Mantri, Vidya Bharti Punjab was the key speaker. He apprised all present with the life, philosophy and philanthropy of Lala Lajpat Rai. The eminent speaker urged the audience to realize their onus towards their motherland. Now is the time when youth can make a colossal contribution to the betterment of the nation. The youth should salute the national leaders and should learn to emulate them. Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi thanked the renowned speakers, Mr. Vijay Nadda and Mr. Sukhdev Lal and went on to adumbrate that the youth should be apprised with the role of great leaders like Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai in making the nation realize the dreams of independence. She also shared the lavish wishes and blessings bestowed on the students of KMV. Lala Lajpat rai had blessed KMVites by these words “May God bless you with the purity of Sita, the beauty of Padmini and the courage of Laxmi Bai.” She appreciated Lala Lajpat Rai Sahityak Sabha for their initiative. She also lauded Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare and Dr. Neetu Chopra for organising their fruitful and meaningful activity.
