KMV organises Insightful PowerPoint Presentation Program on Literary Theory and Linguistics
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a PowerPoint Presentation programme in which students of M.A. English Semester IV, M.A. English Semester II, and M.A. English FYIP Semester II actively participated. The event was organised by the PG Department of English with the objective of encouraging academic engagement, enhancing presentation skills, and promoting a deeper understanding of literary and linguistic concepts.
Jalandhar, March 13, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a PowerPoint Presentation programme in which students of M.A. English Semester IV, M.A. English Semester II, and M.A. English FYIP Semester II actively participated. The event was organised by the PG Department of English with the objective of encouraging academic engagement, enhancing presentation skills, and promoting a deeper understanding of literary and linguistic concepts.
During the programme, students delivered presentations on several important topics. These included “Theory of Deconstruction by Jacques Derrida,” “Relevance of Deconstruction to Literature,” “Femininity as Marginality,” “Sentence Fragments,” and “Problems of Sentence Structure and Style.” Through their presentations, students explored these subjects with thoughtful analysis and clear explanations, demonstrating their understanding of literary theory as well as language usage.
The efforts and presentations of the students were highly appreciated by Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who congratulated the participants for their dedication and confidence. Certificates were also distributed to acknowledge the students’ hard work and active participation.
The programme proved to be a valuable academic activity, providing students with an opportunity to present their ideas, strengthen their research and communication skills, and engage more deeply with key theoretical and linguistic topics. Overall, the event was both educational and motivating for all participants. The Director also lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head of the PG Department of English, and Heena for successfully organising the event.
