KMV organises extension lecture on Career Counselling in Sciences

Jalandhar, March 10, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) P.G Department of Chemistry organised an Extension Lecture on “Career Counselling in Sciences”. 

Dr. Vandana Bhalla from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar delivered an enlightening lecture on career counselling, focusing specifically on the myriad opportunities available to graduates pursuing Bachelor’s and Master's in Science degree. In her engaging speech, Dr. Bhalla elucidated upon the diverse career pathways open to graduates with an advanced degree in science. She also highlighted the importance of leveraging one's academic qualifications to explore various fields, ranging from research and academia to industry and entrepreneurship. Drawing from her extensive experience in the field of education, Dr. Bhalla provided valuable insights into the current job market trends and emphasized the significance of skill development and continuous learning in navigating a successful career trajectory. The lecture, attended by eager students and faculty members alike, served as a catalyst for stimulating discussions and reflections on individual career aspirations and goals.
