Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of Computer Science & Applications organised a Poster Making Event on the theme “Nasha Mukt Samaj” (Drug-Free Society). 
The event was conducted with the objective of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, addiction-free society. Students from the department participated enthusiastically in the activity. The students prepared meaningful and creative handmade posters and conveyed strong messages against substance abuse and emphasized the importance of leading a disciplined and healthy life. The programme commenced with an oath-taking ceremony led by Universal Human Values. She encouraged students to become responsible citizens and advocates of social change by raising awareness within their communities. 
Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the sincere efforts of the students. She applauded the department for organizing an initiative that not only encouraged creativity but also reinforced social responsibility and ethical awareness among young minds. 
The event successfully combined artistic expression with social commitment, reflecting KMV’s dedication to holistic education and nation-building values.
