KMV organises a special session on International Opportunities in Skill Development in association with National Skill Development Corporation

Jalandhar, November 18, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) aims to provide excellent education to its students and guides them for national and international placements through various programs. As part of this series, DDU Kaushal Kendra organised a special session on International Opportunities in Skill Development. 

Mittal, State Engagement Officer, National Skill Development Corporation, Punjab, was invited as a speaker.

During the session, Raghav shared insights about Skill India Mission and various government initiatives, elaborating on N.S.D.C.'s role in assessing trainers, network, and sector skill councils within the entire skill ecosystem. 

During his address, Mittal highlighted the significance of real and credible channels for skilled candidates and potential employers in India and abroad. He also discussed NSDC’s International Initiatives, establishing an ecosystem for employers in the U.K., Japan, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, etc. Additionally, he informed students about N.S.D.C.'s national and international centres. 

Mittal also explained the online job portal of N.S.D.C., various job opportunities, eligibility criteria, application procedures, salaries, and pre-departure orientation and training facilities for selected candidates. He also answered students' questions during the interactive session at the end of the program. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed gratitude to Mr. Mittal for providing crucial information to students and lauded the efforts of Dr. Gopi Sharma, Director, DDU Kaushal Kendra and the whole faculty members for the successful organisation of the program. 

More than 100 participants from inside and outside the campus enthusiastically participated in this event.
