KMV organises 45 days Industrial Training

Jalandhar, October 16, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalay, Jalandhar believes in initiating training programmes to equip young girls for getting decent job placement in this era of increasing competition. In keeping with its idea of economic empowerment for young women, a 45 days industrial training in Pantaloons Retail Store (Aditya Birla Group) was organised for the students of B.Voc in Retail Management under Kaushal Kendra Scheme. During the practical training students acquired practically indispensable knowledge on various aspects of retail like logistic handling, merchandise management, warehousing and store operations, customer handling, getting feedback and also on how to handle queries. The training will help them in getting placements in reputed super markets. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi met the students at the culmination of the training. She congratulated them for the successful completion of their training and said she was sure of a secure and bright future for the young enterprising girls. She also appreciated the efforts of the faculty for having organized such a fruitful venture.
