KMV NCC Cadet bags gold medal at Inter Group Shooting Championship
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NCC cadet Palakpreet Kaur delivered an exceptional performance at the Inter Group Shooting Championship (IGSC) held at the NCC Training Academy, Malout. She represented the 12 Punjab NCC Battalion, Hoshiarpur during two training phases of the competition.
Jalandhar, November 30, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NCC cadet Palakpreet Kaur delivered an exceptional performance at the Inter Group Shooting Championship (IGSC) held at the NCC Training Academy, Malout. She represented the 12 Punjab NCC Battalion, Hoshiarpur during two training phases of the competition.
Displaying remarkable discipline and excellence, Palakpreet clinched a Gold Medal in the Guard of Honour and a Silver Medal in the Firing Competition. Adding to the significance of her achievement, she was the only girl representing 2 PB (G) BN NCC, Jalandhar, making her success a proud milestone for both the battalion and the institution.
Her outstanding performance received special appreciation from Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who lauded her hard work, commitment, and exemplary representation of the college at the NCC event. Dr. Dwivedi praised her for setting a strong example of leadership and inspiring young women to pursue excellence in NCC and extracurricular activities.
This remarkable achievement has brought immense pride to KMV, the NCC unit, and the region, showcasing the spirit of dedication, courage and excellence that young cadets continue to uphold.
