Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) & KMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School observed Veer Bal Diwas with great reverence and patriotic spirit to honour the extraordinary courage and supreme sacrifice. The event was organised by the Department of Student Welfare. The programme commenced with an introduction highlighting the historical significance of Veer Bal Diwas and the heroic martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, who upheld truth and faith with unmatched bravery at a tender age.

Jalandhar, December 26, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) & KMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School observed Veer Bal Diwas with great reverence and patriotic spirit to honour the extraordinary courage and supreme sacrifice. The event was organised by the Department of Student Welfare. The programme commenced with an introduction highlighting the historical significance of Veer Bal Diwas and the heroic martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, who upheld truth and faith with unmatched bravery at a tender age.

Students prepared colourful posters depicting the supreme sacrifice, courage, and steadfast faith of the Sahibzadas. In addition, a slogan-writing activity on the theme of bravery and patriotism was organised, enabling senior students to express their respect and national pride creatively. Students also presented speeches and poems reflecting the ideals of courage, sacrifice, and righteousness. On this occasion, the students also motivated and spread awareness to participate in the blood donation camp being organised at Fatehgarh Sahib by the Government of Punjab. The whole campus resonated with patriotic zeal throughout the programme.

Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the organising team and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students, stating that such commemorations are instrumental in nurturing value-based and responsible citizens. The programme concluded with a pledge by students to uphold the ideals of courage, truth, and selfless service to the nation.
