KMV marks the celebration of the 77th Republic Day with the Flag Hoisting ceremony
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in continuum with the rich traditions of the yester years hoisted the National Flag to mark the celebration of the 77th Republic Day. The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The flag was hoisted to the chanting of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem.

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in continuum with the rich traditions of the yester years hoisted the National Flag to mark the celebration of the 77th Republic Day. The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The flag was hoisted to the chanting of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this Republic Day celebration is dedicated to our brave soldiers & martyrs. Prof. Dwivedi exhorted everyone to remember that many valiant and precious lives had been lost during the freedom struggle & India stands strong amongst all the nations of the world committed to world peace and harmony. She also averred that every citizen should follow the path & direction given in the constitution in order to make our beloved nation more prosperous, strong and happy. She also made everyone aware about their Fundamental Rights granted to us by our constitution & also maintained that along with their rights, the citizens should also remember their duties towards their beloved motherland. She also highlighted the role of KMV in the Indian freedom struggle and its contribution to the nation building since its inception.
It is pertinent to mention that it was indeed a celebration dedicated to the freedom of our beloved motherland. She also lauded the efforts of Department of NCC for successfully organising the celebration.
