Jalandhar, March 11, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), a premier institution of national repute, has been honoured with the prestigious award for ‘Academic Excellence & Women Empowerment.’ The award was formally presented by Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Gujarat, in recognition of the college’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of women and its pioneering role in the Indian educational landscape. During the presentation, the Governor praised the institution for both its historic legacy and contemporary achievements. He remarked that although there are thousands of girls’ schools and colleges across India, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya remains a major source of inspiration for many of them.
