KMV begins academic session 2016-17 with Hawan

Jalandhar, July 14, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution which is rooted in traditions and has branched out in modernity the auspicious beginning of the 131st academic session 2016-17 was done with the performance of Hawan. It was attended by all the staff members and students. During the Hawan all sought the blessings of the almighty for a fruitful and academically rewarding year ahead. All prayed for prosperity and world peace as well. At the culmination of the Hawan Principal KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi acquainted all with the rich heritage of the college and its enviable rich cultural values. She also said that it not only necessary to have made history but it was also imperative to continue to make history in order to survive and thrive. She wished prosperity and good luck to the faculty and students and also motivated them to work hard. After the Hawan the new students were given time-table and were also taken on a round of the college by the students council in order to familiarize the freshers with their institution.
