Jatt Sikh Council at Lyallpur Khalsa College elects Kuljit Singh Hair as the new President at the Annual meeting
The annual general meeting of the Jatt Sikh Council, Jalandhar was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, in which the founders and life members of the Jatt Sikh Council participated in large numbers.
Jalandhar, December 30, 2025: The annual general meeting of the Jatt Sikh Council, Jalandhar was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, in which the founders and life members of the Jatt Sikh Council participated in large numbers.
The Secretary of the Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jaspal Singh Waraich warmly welcomed all the guests and presented the agenda of the meeting.
It is worth mentioning here that this council is a non-governmental organization providing financial assistance to deserving and talented Jatt Sikh students and has been working in this field for a long time.
In this meeting, Kuljit Singh Hair was elected as the President of the Jatt Sikh Council for this year in place of D. H.S. Mann. The report for the year 2024-2025 was presented, in which it was said that the Jatt Sikh Council provides financial assistance to needy and talented Jatt Sikh students every year. Due to this scholarship, many needy Jatt Sikh students are able to continue their studies every year. The Council provides this scholarship by identifying needy students directly in schools and colleges with the help of the principal and staff. During the tenure of Dr. Mann, 65 cases were filed, out of which 55 meritorious students were given scholarships and 10 flood-affected students were given financial assistance.
During this meet, Council member Jagwinder Kaur Deol donated Rs. 11 thousand to the Jatt Sikh Council. On this occasion, Kuljit Singh Hair, Jaspal Singh Waraich, Dr. H.S. Mann, Sukhbahar Singh Waraich, Jagwinder Kaur Deol, S. Dharminder Singh Chahal, Gulbahar Singh, Dr. Amarjit Singh Bajwa, Guriqbal Singh Dhillon, Jasvir Singh Johal, Sarbdial Singh, R.S. Pawar, H.S. Basra, S. B.S. Sekhon, Gurkripal Singh Dhillon, Sarvinderpal Singh Khaira were also present.
The proceedings of the meeting were managed by Prof. Harbans Singh Bolina and he wished the Jatt Sikh Council all the best for such a noble cause.
