Chandigarh, October 9, 2023: University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh, one of the region’s top B-schools which is dedicated to providing top-notch education in the field of management sciences, organized Interactive Session on HR Trends in Management Consulting on Friday.
Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Chairperson, University Business School, Panjab University, Prof. Tejinderpal Singh, Co-ordinator of Placement Cell, UBS and Prof. Purva Kansal extended felicitations and offered a vote of thanks. The formal session was attended by all the students2022-24 and 2023-2025 batches.
The program started off with the warm welcome of the Chief Speaker of the session, Aakash Jain, Recruiter Asia Tech Talent Attraction at McKinsey & Company and a distinguished alumnus of University Business School.
Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Chairperson, UBS, PU welcomed the keynote speaker Aakash Jain and appreciated his zeal to assemble for the session despite their busy schedules. She briefed about the strong foundations of the UBS and the importance of such a gathering frequently where she stated, “Success is not just about making money or achieving high positions; it's about creating value, making a positive impact, and leaving a legacy that transcends financial gains.”
Aakash Jain, Recruiter Asia Tech Talent Attraction at McKinsey &Company provided valuable insights from his experience of the industry, he shed a light on the current industry demands, how college and students should cope-up with new challenges and frame their Curriculum Vitae (CV), the role of soft skills, technical skills which are necessary to make the students industry-ready and before appearing any corporate interviews. Jain shared invaluable insights into the evolving HR practices within the management consulting sector, engaging the audience in a lively discussion.
