Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Organizes Blood Donation Camp under ‘Disha – An Initiative’
Promoting the spirit of humanity and social responsibility, the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan organized a Blood Donation Camp on March 18, 2026, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Jalandhar. The camp was conducted under ‘Disha – An Initiative’ run by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, and with the support of the National Service Scheme and the Red Ribbon Club.
Jalandhar, March 18, 2026: Promoting the spirit of humanity and social responsibility, the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan organized a Blood Donation Camp on March 18, 2026, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Jalandhar. The camp was conducted under ‘Disha – An Initiative’ run by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, and with the support of the National Service Scheme and the Red Ribbon Club.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and volunteers who came forward to support the noble cause of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. A total of 45 donors donated blood during the camp, demonstrating their commitment towards community welfare and humanitarian service.
The main objective of organizing the camp was to spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to encourage young individuals to actively contribute towards helping patients in need. The medical team from the Red Cross Society ensured that all necessary health and safety measures were followed and that proper care was provided to every donor throughout the process.
The management appreciated the efforts of all the participants, volunteers, and organizers for their valuable contribution in making the blood donation camp a great success.Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director, CSR) stated that such initiatives reflect the institution’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens and fostering a spirit of compassion and service among students.
