Innocent Hearts Group of Institutes organised Industrial visit for B.Sc Medical Lab Sciences Students

Jalandhar, March 10, 2016: Innocent Hearts group of Institution organised industrial visit for B.Sc.Medical Lab Sciences second semester students in which students got new exposure by visiting Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. Prof. Harpreet Singh Burmi, HOD of Medical Lab Sciences & Prof.Shilpa Sharma accompanied & guided the students about the importance and need of industrial visit. At Civil Hospital, Jalandhar Dr. Devinder Singh Virdi (MD Pathology) & Dr. Alfred (MD Pathology) explained the students regarding the various departments like Phlebotomy, Microbiology, Hematology, Biochemistry, Histopathology & Blood Bank. Students also get interaction with the patient of thalassemia and also talk with their parents in reference to the disease. The students were very much curious about the visit and joined the visit with full dedication and interest.
Dr.Anup Bowry, Secretary, Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, further emphasized on the brighter side that these activities create zeal and confidence among the students for learning and making their knowledge more practical oriented for future. With this Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, Group Director, Innocent Heart’s group of Institutions also gave his best wishes to the students.
