Innocent Hearts College of Education brought laurels home in the result of GNDU B.Ed. Sem IV Examination (May 2026) by achieving the highest average CGPA amongst the education colleges of Jalandhar. The college bagged Guru Nanak Dev University 9th Merit position through student-teacher Geetika who secured a cumulative grade point average CGPA of 8.43.

Jalandhar, July 27, 2026: Innocent Hearts College of Education brought laurels home in the result of GNDU B.Ed. Sem IV Examination (May 2026) by achieving the highest average CGPA amongst the education colleges of Jalandhar. The college bagged Guru Nanak Dev University 9th Merit position through student-teacher Geetika who secured a cumulative grade point average CGPA of 8.43.
All 100% student-teachers have achieved First Divisions. Eighty percent of student-teachers grabbed distinctions and thirty six percent of student-teachers achieved more than 8 CGPA.
Geetika achieved first position in the college with 8.43 CGPA, Puneet Kaur Rai bagged second position with 8.28 CGPA, Gursehaj Kaur and Mandeep Shahi attained third position in the college with 8.18 CGPA. Mehak Sharma and Kavita Giri achieved fourth position in the college with 8.15 CGPA and Simrandeep Kaur attained fifth position in the college with 8.13 CGPA.
Geetika uttered thankfully, “I am really grateful for the guidance provided by our Principal and help meted out by my worthy teachers for believing in me and inspiring me to reach my goal.” Puneet Kaur Rai added, “My family has always supported and encouraged me to work hard to attain my goals. Moreover, the co-operation and motivation of Principal Sir and the mentors of our college have always encouraged me to move ahead.”
On this proud occasion, Executive Director (Colleges), Aradhana Bowry extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the achievers and applauded the dedication of the faculty. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh encouraged the would-be teachers to keep working whole-heartedly by enhancing their teaching skills in the schools too, where they will be teaching in the near future. The members of Management, Principal and all the faculty members congratulated all the student-teachers for their wonderful performance. All would-be teachers felt victorious and thanked their mentors.
