Innocent Hearts Celebrates National Hindi Diwas with Enthusiasm

Jalandhar, September 13, 2025: Innocent Hearts College of Education and Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, celebrated National Hindi Diwas with great pride and zeal, highlighting the importance of Hindi as the soul of India’s cultural heritage. At the Innocent Hearts College of Education, the NSS unit organized a series of activities to showcase the history and significance of the Hindi language. Student-teachers recited the timeless dohas of Kabir Das, Rahim, and Tulsidas, enriching the event with cultural wisdom. A thought-provoking drama on the theme “Hindi – Our Official Language and the Backbone of Our Nation” was staged by NSS volunteers Geetika, Gunveen, Gursehaj, and Vibha, who conveyed their love and respect for Hindi through impactful performances.Meanwhile, at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, the Literary Club hosted an Inter-Department Hindi Diwas Celebration, which saw enthusiastic participation from 25 students across various departments. Competitions were conducted in four categories – Speech, Essay Writing, Poem Recitation, and Slogan Writing – to promote creative expression and linguistic talent. Silky (BCA 5th) and Liza (BBA 5th) won top honors in the Speech Competition, while Jasdeep (MLS 1st) emerged as the winner of the Poetry Recitation. In Slogan Writing, Mehak (BBA 5th) secured the first prize, followed by Sahajpreet Kaur (Micro 1st) and Sania (BCA 5th). The Essay Writing Competition was won by Kiran (BCA 5th), with Diya (BCA 5th) and Ramandeep Kaur (BCA 1st) securing the second and third positions respectively. Certificates were awarded to all achievers in recognition of their efforts. The celebrations not only instilled a deep sense of pride in the Hindi language but also reinforced its role in uniting people, preserving cultural values, and strengthening national identity.
