Jalandhar  November 3, 2014 : Indian Oil Mumbai  beat Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala by 5-3 and Punjab Police Jalandhar beat Bharat Petroleum Mumbai by 4-2 to earn full points in the 31st Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium here today.
In Women Section Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala register second consecutive victory by beating Haryana XI by 6-3.
In men section first match in Pool A Last year’s Runner up Indian Oil Mumbai beat Rail Coach Factory Kapurtahala. In the 10th minute of the match Indian Oil’s Parabhjot Singh (Olympian)  netted the ball from left flank (1-0). In the 15th minute Indian Oil’s Vikas Sharma scored the goal from the top of the circle (2-0). In 20th minute RCF’s Simrandeep Singh converted the penalty corner to reduce the margin (1-2). In 22nd minute Indian Oil’s Sunil Yadav sounded the board with penalty corner conversion (3-1). At half time Indian Oil was leading by 3-1.  
In 49th minute of the secod half RCF’s Raman Singh netted the ball from right flank (2-3). In 61st minute of the play Indian Oil’s Gagandeep Singh scored the goal with penalty Corner conversion (4-2). In 66th minute of the play IOC scored another goal from the stick of Gagandeep Singh (5-2). In the dying minutes of the match RCF’s Sanjay Bir able to reduce the lead (5-3).  
In the second match in men section in pool B Punjab Police Jalandhar after loosing their first match against Army XI today beat  Bharat Petroleum Mumbai by 4-2. Punjab Police took lead in 13th minute when Captain Simranjeet Singh converted the penalty corner (1-0). In the 27th minute of the play Jagmeet Singh scored field goal for Punjab Police (2-0). In the 33rd minute of the play Bharat Petroleum able to reduce the margin by field goal by Harjeet Singh (1-2). At half time Punjab Police was leading by 2-1.
In second half’s 57th minute Punjab police consolidated, when Ajay Kumar converted the penalty corner (3-1). Punjab Police’s Sarbjeet Singh scored from right flank in  58th minute (4-1) . In 65th minute Bharat Petroleum’s Harjeet Singh reduced the margin (2-4).
In Women Section match Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala dominated the proceedings against Haryana XI. RCF eves took lead in the 7thminute when Asian Gold medalist Amandeep Kaur sounded the board (1-0). In 11th minute of the play Asian gold Medalist Deepika netted the bal from right flank for RCF (2-0). In 15th minute Haryana’s Kiran reduced the margin (1-2). In 23rd minute RCF’s Amandeep Kaur struck once again (3-1). Haryana’s Jyoti Gupta once again reduced the margin (2-3). In 33rd minute of the play RCF’s Anuradha Devi  scored (4-2). At half time RCF girls was leading by 4-2.
In second half’s  48th minute Haryana’s Manmeet Kaur reduced the difference (3-4). In 55th minute R Ali and in 64th minute Deepika scored two goals to complete the tally (6-3).
