Dharamshala, March 29, 2017: Tibetans are following the Indian knowledge and culture even today provided to them centuries ago. Stating this the religious leader of Tibet H H The Dalai lama said, “The ancient Indian Knowledge of every field is the treasure given to Tibetans 1000 years back, which we follow even today.”
Talking to this correspondent at His residence Dalai lama said, “We are the real disciple of the Guru (the master)India.” He said the ancient Indian knowledge must be delivered and followed by the world, as the world today lack the most required peace in humanity.
Dalai Lama said, “The 1000 years old ancient Indian knowledge of keeping peace should be included as academic subject in schools and colleges of the world.”
He said that India must lead the world to teach the art of peace and cool mind, by taking more steps to divert the world towards the study about ancient Indian knowledge bank, “it is very important, in today’s scenario,” he added.
He said, “The media role to educate the world about mental peace, should be the first and the foremost.” This way media can also play its part in bringing peace in world through ancient Indian knowledge. He said that only India can bring back peace of mind in modern world and no other country is capable of doing so.
Dalai Lama is of the opinion that modernization is the necessity of the present society but, “without peace of mind it is going towards the destruction. So we must avail the valuable ancient Indian culture and tradition to live in peace and harmony”.
