Independence Day celebration at Apeejay School 

Apeejay School Rama Mandi, Jalandhar celebrated 77th Independence Day with great zeal and zest. With the blessings of President Sushma Paul Berlia and under the guidance of Principal A.K Sharma, the event aroused the spirit of patriotism and love for motherland. 

Independence Day celebration at Apeejay School 

Jalandhar, August 16, 2023: Apeejay School Rama Mandi, Jalandhar celebrated 77th Independence Day with great zeal and zest. With the blessings of President Sushma Paul Berlia and under the guidance of Principal A.K Sharma, the event aroused the spirit of patriotism and love for motherland. 

The entire school campus was decorated with Tri-colour flags and streamers. The celebration on 14th August commenced with prayers sung by the musical choir of the school. Following which a patriotic song was sung by Music teacher Ms. Nidhi Sharma along with her team to pay homage to our numerous freedom fighters, whose sacrifices gave us our precious independence. 

Students expressed their patriotic spirit by presenting speeches, role play, poem, video presentation. 

A dance performance was presented by the students on a medley of patriotic songs prepared by the dance teacher Shama. 

A Role Play on the theme of Independence Day was also depicted by the tiny tots of the School. They were dressed up as Freedom Fighters, Famous Indian personalities and also represented various states of India signifying Unity in Diversity. 

Principal A.K. Sharma in his address to the students stated that every year the special day 15th August gives us an opportunity to celebrate our independence that we have achieved after a huge struggle and sacrifice of our freedom fighters so we should not undermine its value. The spirit of patriotism should be felt every day with a feeling of respect for our country in our hearts. played in the freedom movement & beyond. Sir also shared with students the role played by our Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul in the freedom movement & beyond. He further added how Apeejay Education demonstrated unwavering solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces by organizing the Apeejay Solidarity March after the Kargil war in 1999. This event saw the participation of approximately 6000 students, showcasing their support for our officers and jawans. At Apeejay Education, the spirit of nation-building through education is being taken forward under the dynamic Leadership of President Madam Sushma Paul Berlia at all levels.

On 15th August,  Principal AK Sharma hoisted the Tri-color flag in the front lawn of the school. Vice Principal Mrs. Aarti Shorey Bhat, Teaching and Admin staff joined in for the Flag hoisting ceremony. 

The events culminated with the National Anthem.
