Important instructions for students regarding PUCSC Election-2023

Chandigarh September 5, 2023: Office of the Dean Student Welfare Panjab University, Chandigarh has issued some important instructions for students regarding PUCSC Election-2023. These instructions are as under:
 
1.                 The students should assemble in the respective polling rooms at 9.30 a.m.
 
2.                 Teachers Incharge of the rooms should give verbal and visual illustration to the students on black boards for each polling room.
 
3.                 All students must be in the polling room by 9.30 a.m.
 
4.                 The Teacher Incharge of a particular room should read out the instructions at 9.30 a.m.
 
5.                 A student who is held up at gates due to traffic congestion or for some other reason, will be allowed to enter the polling room upto 10.15 a.m., but not after 10.15 a.m. in any circumstances. However, any student found roaming around the department, after 9.30 a.m. will not be allowed to enter polling room and cast vote.
 
6.                 The Campus Students who have taken admission in the department of the University till 5.9.2023 shall be entitled to cast their votes for the Panjab University Campus Students’ Council Elections scheduled for 6.9.2023.  If such student/s has/have not been issued Identity Cards/identity slips by the Department, he/she can enter the Campus by showing fee slip of the current session alongwith any I.D. Proof and can caste the vote after verification of his/her admission by the Department (circular already sent).
 
7.                 Counting of votes (Office Bearers) will start at 12:00 noon onwards on 6.9.2023 in the Gymnasium Hall, P.U. Chandigarh and result will be declared there after completion of counting.
