Mumbai, November 7, 2023: Amazon miniTV - Amazon’s free video streaming platform today released the intriguing trailer of their recently announced cyber-crime thriller series, Hack Crimes Online. Set to stream exclusively on Amazon miniTV, produced by  Shital Bhatia- Co-founder of Friday Storytellers, and directed by Parmeet Sethi the series is adapted from an acclaimed book by a renowned Indian cybercrime investigator, Amit Dubey, who tracks a series of real-life instances of cybercrimes. The advent of technology has rendered us reliant on the internet for all our requirements. The internet has provided us with access to everything while sitting in one location. Cyber crimes have no geographical boundaries, so anyone with a mobile phone can be a victim. Produced by Friday Storytellers (a part of Friday Filmworks) the series will feature talented actors like Vipul Gupta and Riddhi Kumar in pivotal roles. The crime thriller is slated to stream on the service from 10th November onward.
 

The series exposes alarming cybercrime cases such as hacking into people's social media accounts, blackmailing, and conducting ransomware attacks against major corporations. This gripping drama gives viewers the impression that we are being monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The series features Shakti, a young coding genius and her reporting boss, under the able leadership of the star of this crime thriller series, ACP Ashutosh Malik, who together solve complex cybercrimes. The series emphasizes how hackers have no age limit and use inventive tactics to scam money from an individual and their nefarious methods that give the authorities a run for their money.

 
Speaking about playing ACP Ashutosh in the crime thriller, Vipul Gupta, said, “Because of India's reliance on the internet, the rate of cybercrime is increasing by the minute.
