IKG PTU Youth Festival North Zone 2025 kicks off at CT Group with the theme “Rangla Punjab and Viksit Bharat @2047”
The North Zone Youth Festival 2025 of IKG Punjab Technical University commenced with great zeal and colour at the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, hosted by the CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology, Shahpur Campus, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, October 15, 2025: The North Zone Youth Festival 2025 of IKG Punjab Technical University commenced with great zeal and colour at the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, hosted by the CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology, Shahpur Campus, Jalandhar.
The two-day cultural extravaganza, themed “Rangla Punjab and Viksit Bharat @2047”, brought together 19+ teams from across Punjab — including Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Amritsar, Pathankot, and Jalandhar — celebrating the rich cultural heritage and creative vibrancy of the region.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Co-Chairperson Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Joint Managing Director Tanika Channi, Executive Director Dr. Nitin Tandon, Campus Director Dr. Shiv Kumar, and Guests of Honour Dr Jaspreet Kaur District Language Officer and Mr. Sumeer Sharma, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs and Sports, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
The event began with a vibrant showcase of Punjab’s art, rhythm, and expression, aligning beautifully with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 — a call for a creative, progressive, and inclusive India.
Day 1 witnessed enthralling performances and competitions including Bhangra, Mimicry, One-Act Play, Singing, On-the-Spot Photography, Painting, Essay Writing, Poem Recitation, and several fine arts and literary events, highlighting the incredible talent and passion of the youth.
Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi remarked, “It’s a proud moment to see Punjab’s youth come together to celebrate art, culture, and unity. This festival mirrors the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, where creativity and culture pave the way to progress.”
Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh stated, “The North Zone Youth Festival is more than an event — it’s an emotion that connects young minds to their roots while inspiring innovation and excellence. We’re proud to host this celebration of Punjab’s youthful spirit.”
Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh added, “Platforms like this shape leaders for tomorrow — instilling confidence, discipline, and teamwork, which are the true foundations of a developed India.”
The festival continues with Day 2 events and promises another vibrant day of artistic brilliance, friendly competition, and the spirit of Rangla Punjab.
