IHM, Rohtak conducts Entrepreneurship awareness program for Students
Under the e-SDP scheme of the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, a one-day entrepreneurship awareness program was organized by the MSME Technology Center, Rohtak on Thursday at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Rohtak, located at Tilyar.

Rohtak, February 19, 2026: Under the e-SDP scheme of the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, a one-day entrepreneurship awareness program was organized by the MSME Technology Center, Rohtak on Thursday at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Rohtak, located at Tilyar.
Giving details, Lecturer IHM, Vikas Deshwal said that the program was inaugurated by IHM Principal Shambhu Nath Gautam. After the welcome address, he inspired the students to adopt self-employment and entrepreneurship as a strong career option. The Principal praised the various schemes of the Ministry of MSME.
As the keynote speaker, R.K. Singh (HOD -Training, MSME Rohtak), Rachna Tripathi (Assistant Director, Bhiwani Branch), Kapil Mittal (Joint Director, State MSME, Haryana) and Rahul (State MSME Office, Haryana) gave detailed information to the students about entrepreneurship opportunities, self-employment schemes, government assistance, startup support and training facilities available at MSME Rohtak.
In the End, an interactive session was organized in which the speakers addressed the queries of the students. Dr. Shweta Kumar, Senior Lecturer, IHM, expressed her gratitude. Around 70 students and staff members participated enthusiastically in the program.
