IAS Officer Jaspreet Singh joins as Registrar IKGPTU

Jalandhar/Kapurthala: An officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Jaspreet Singh (2014 batch) joined as 15th Registrar of I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar-Kapurthala. IAS Jaspreet Singh, who is presently also serving as Additional Deputy commissioner (ADC) Jalandhar, had earlier served as Additional Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Department. He has been recently assigned this responsibility by the state government.

Assuming the charge of his new office, the Registrar IAS Jaspreet Singh said that he would accord top priority to further implement the projects, scholarship schemes and other educational activities of the state government and other educational regulatory bodies in an effective & transparent manner. He said that his office approach is always open for all stakeholders for all the time. "IKGPTU team had performed tremendous job towards quality education and I will add my experience to attain newer heights for the University." He added.

In a preliminary meeting with the staff in his office, IAS Jaspreet Singh asked them to perform their duty with zeal to ensure the services to the students & other stakeholders.
