Honour of Com. Naresh Gaur on his elevation as General Secretary, AISBOPEF

Ludhiana, July 17, 2016: In a function at State Bank of Patiala, Zonal Office, Ludhiana, employees of State Bank of Patiala Ludhiana Zone honoured Com.Naresh Gaur on his elevation as General Secretary, All India State Bank of Patiala Employees Federation (AISBOPEF).
A large number of employees from local branches were present on this occasion. While addressing the employees, Com.Ashok Malhan, Vice President, AISBOPEF said that this is a big honour not only for Ludhiana Zone but also for State Bank of Patiala that Com. Naresh Gaur has been elevated as General Secretary of our Organisation. Com.Gaur is working in the Union since his joining the Bank from the year 1986. He has been assigned different duties in the Union which he is performing in the most befitting manner with utmost sincerity and dedication. Looking to his this commitment towards his work, he has been given this responsibility.
Com. Naresh Gaur while conveying his heartiest thanks to all the employees present on this occasion said that I am also one of the comrades like all of you. I assure you that as I am performing my duties at different platforms in the Union in the past, in future too, I will try my level best to come upto not only to your expectations but also to the expectations of our Mighty Organization. In the past, we all are fighting together for the welfare of employees. Com. Gaur further said that on 29th July 2016, on the call given by United Forum of Bank Employees (UFBU) consisting of nine trade unions of bank employees and bank officers, ten lacs of bank employees and officers working in Public Sector Banks will observe One Day Protest Strike to oppose the anti-people banking reform policies of the Central Government.
Com. Gaur also said that AIBEA told to publish the list of 7000 defaulters involving bad loans amounting to Rs. 70000 crore. He said that the names of these defaulters will be published by AIBEA shortly as the Govt. is not taking any action against these defaulters. We are demanding recovery of bad loans through stringent measures.
Com. Malhan while conveying vote of thanks said that Com. Gaur is also a Senator in Punjab University for the last three years and he also played an important role while performing his duties as Syndicate in PU. He fought against the hike in the fees of students which was to be increased on the very high side. He also raised his voice against the exploitation of teachers in schools and colleges. He strongly protested against corruption. Now again he is re-contesting in Senate Elections - 2016 in Graduate Constituency. So, once again we all are to vote and support Com. Gaur enabling him to be a Senator to raise his voice in the Senate for the welfare of teachers, students and a common man living in this society facing problems. So Let us all pledge to Vote and Support Com. Naresh Gaur giving him one more opportunity to serve our society in which we all are living.
