Jalandhar, March 3, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated the festival of Holi with full zeal and enthusiasm. A special program was organized on this occasion in which Tilak Holi was celebrated in an eco-friendly manner to spread the message of environmental cleanliness.
Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, along with the faculty members of the college, celebrated Holi with flowers to mark the festival of joy and happiness. During the celebration, sweets were also distributed among all the staff members of the college.
On this occasion, the Department of Music performed songs and musical renditions related to the festival of colors.
Prof. Dwivedi congratulated everyone on this auspicious occasion, stating that such festivities provide a break from the monotonous routine and are always welcomed. She further noted that celebrating festivals together in harmony helps one become acquainted with the rich culture and heritage of Indian tradition.
