Jalandhar, December 29, 2015: Weight Lifting Team of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won GNDU Inter College Weight Lifting Championship held at DAV College Sports Complex, Amritsar. Team members Sarabjit Kaur 53 kgs weight category, Mandeep Kaur 58 kgs, Sarabjit Kaur 69 kgs have won Gold Medals. Payal in 48 kgs weight category, Amandeep Kaur 58 kgs, Km. Amanpreet Kaur 69 kgs have won Silver Medals while Sameena got Bronze Medal in 53 kgs weight category. Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the winners, Coach and members of Physical Education Department She also told that Sarabjit, Mandeep, Amandeep and Sararbjit have been selected for All India Inter University Weight Lifting Championship being held at A.N.U. Guntur (Andhra Pradesh). On this occasion, Head Physical Education Deptt. Mrs. Sudershan Kang and Harmeet Kaur were also present.
