HMV bags Ist Runners Up Trophy in Zonal Youth Festival-2016

Jalandhar: Maintaining the tradition of excellence in every field, HMV bagged the Ist Runners Up position in Zonal Youth Festival-2016, winning prizes in 29 events out of total of 33. The college has 8 First Positions to their credit in Mimicry, Vaar Singing, Cartooning, Clay Modelling, Giddha, Rangoli, Phulkari and a clean sweep won in the Quiz with a lead of 60 points. The second positions were achieved in Kavishri, Painting, Poster Making, Photography Installatiion, Collage Making, Folk Song, Debate and Classical Dance. The third position was achieved in 12 events namely Mine, Group Shabad, Classical Vocal, One Act Play, Skit, Classical Inst. (Non-Percussiion), Western Vocal Solo, Western Group Song, Elocution, Poetical Symposium, Folk Orchestra and Group Dance. Amisha and Parminder were adjudged Best Actress and Best Performer in One Act Play and Folk Orchestra respectively.

Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen felicitated Dr. Jasbir Rishi (Advisor, Youth Welfare Deptt.), Mrs. Navroop (Dean, Youth Welfare), Miss Shama Sharma (Co-Dean), the members of Core Committee, whole team and the students on their glorious achievement and mesmerizing performance in the Youth festival. On this occasion, all the incharges of various items, students and staff members were present.
