Hindi Play “Terrorist Ki Premika” Being Staged at CT Group Highlighting the Power of Theatre in Education

Jalandhar, October 24, 2025: A thought-provoking Hindi play titled “Terrorist Ki Premika” was staged at CT Group of Institutions, captivating the audience with its powerful performances and emotional depth. Written by Pali Bupinder Singh and directed by Abhishek Tiwari from Lucknow, the 1 hour 30 minute production explored complex human emotions of love, conflict, and ideology.

The main cast, including Sawan Rupowali, Utkarsh Singh, and other talented artists, delivered impactful performances that left a lasting impression on the viewers.

The play depicted the journey of a sensitive woman, Aneet, whose life revolved around poetry, music, and the emotions of love. Her world, built on devotion toward her husband—a police officer—took a dark turn when a terrorist entered her home to settle an old score by killing her husband. What began as a tale of love gradually unfolded into a powerful narrative of emotional turmoil, courage, and transformation, portraying Aneet’s journey from deep affection to resistance and awakening.

The event highlighted the significance of theatre, art, and culture in the holistic development of students. At CT Group, such initiatives went beyond entertainment, serving as thought-provoking experiences that encouraged reflection, creativity, and empathy. Through theatre, students were inspired to explore artistic expression while developing critical thinking and emotional intelligence — essential traits for their all-round growth.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Co-Chairperson Madam Parminder Kaur, Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh, Director DSW Davinder Singh, and Dean DSW Dr. Arjan Singh, who appreciated the efforts of the artists and organizers for promoting meaningful theatre on campus.
