Rohtak, October 14, 2025: Continuing the legacy of creative excellence nurtured at DLC SUPVA, former CAD Diploma Programme student Kohinoor Kapoor has taken a remarkable entrepreneurial leap with the launch of her venture - Kohinoor Creative World. The platform is dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and showcasing artistic talent across dance, music, painting, fashion design, and cultural expressions, with a mission to build a thriving creative ecosystem in Haryana.
In collaboration with DLC SUPVA, Kohinoor Creative World is set to organize a state-level dance competition - “Haryana’s Best Nritya Kalakaar” on November 12, 2025, preceded by auditions on November 8–9 at the University campus. This vibrant event aims to bring together young dancers aged 8 to 25 years, celebrating a fusion of Haryana’s rich folk traditions such as Loor, Ghoomar, and Saang with contemporary dance forms like Hip-Hop, Contemporary, B-Boying, and Bollywood.
Kohinoor met Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya and Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and extended a formal invitation to the grand event.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya said, “It is heartening to see our students stepping into the world as creative leaders and change-makers. Kohinoor’s initiative not only celebrates Haryana’s artistic heritage but also inspires the youth to convert their passion into purposeful ventures. At DLC SUPVA, we believe true education culminates when creativity meets social impact.”
Adding to this, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha remarked, “Our students are redefining the scope of creative disciplines. This journey from a CAD Diploma student to a cultural entrepreneur exemplifies the transformative environment that DLC SUPVA provides - one that empowers learners to innovate, lead, and give back to their community.”
