Bathinda, May 9, 2015: Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today expressed deep pain and anguish over the unfortunate incident of death of girl in Moga a few days back.
In a statement issued here today, the Union Minister said that such type of incidents were totally unwarranted and unjustified. Badal said that no one involved in this crime would be spared and the perpetrators of this crime against a teenage girl would get severest of the severe punishment as per the law of land. The Union Minister said that she was deeply peeved over this incident.
The Union Minister said that that the day when this incident had took place she had moved early to the Parliament house due to the ongoing session. Badal said that she was completely ignorant about the involvement of Orbit bus in the matter when the media persons put a series of questions before her related to the incident on that day. The Union Minister said that she was fully aware that their family owned a transport business on the name of Orbit since 1947 and there was hardly anything in concealing it.
