Chandigarh, September 14, 2023: In the third cycle of the NAAC assessment, Government Home Science College, Chandigarh got A++ Grade with an Outstanding score of 3.56.
NAAC assessed the College under 7 criteria which included curricular aspects, teaching learning and evaluation, research, innovation and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression, governance, leadership and management and Institutional values and best practices.
The college was awarded the highest grading in these parameters.
Principal of the College Prof Sudha Katyal expressed her joy over this historic achievement and congratulated students, staff members and stakeholders. She said that for the last 5 years Govt. Home Science College is also topping in NIRF India Rankings amongst all the tricity colleges and is successful in maintaining its position in Top 100 Colleges of India, with 52nd Position in 2023.
