GLS University & SAE Institute Launch India’s First Global B.Design (Honours) Program
Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Marking a historic milestone in India’s creative media education landscape, GLS University has partnered with Australia’s prestigious SAE Institute to launch the Global B.Design (Honours) program. Focused on Animation, VFX and Game Development, this four-year degree is the first of its kind in the country to provide Indian students with globally benchmarked qualifications and international career pathways.
The exclusive program emphasises a project-based learning model, enabling students to gain hands-on professional training from day one through cutting-edge software, studio environments and production tools. The course also includes global immersion opportunities, exchange programs and direct access to SAE’s extensive international industry network.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Sudhir Nanavati, President of GLS University, side, “This collaboration with the renowned SAE marks a milestone for both GLS and India’s education system. We are committed to preparing our students to become leaders and innovators in the global creative industry.”
Dr. Chandni Kapadia, Executive Director of GLS University, added, “This program gives Indian youth world-class skills and strengthens their global visibility in the rapidly expanding Animation, VFX and Gaming market.”
