Jalandhar, March 3, 2026: The festival of colors at Lovely Professional University this year carried a profound message of gratitude and national pride. While the campus came alive with vibrant hues, music, and celebration, the spirit of the occasion was dedicated to the brave soldiers who safeguard the nation’s borders. In a heartfelt collective tribute, - “Udayein Ek Mutthi Gulaal Shaheedon Ke Naam”, students, faculty, and staff raised a handful of red gulaal toward the sky, symbolically saluting the armed forces. The gesture served as a powerful reminder that the freedom to celebrate festivals in peace is secured by the courage and sacrifices of the nation’s soldiers.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, remarked that every celebration in the country rests upon the dedication and bravery of the armed forces. Dr. Mittal urged the LPU community to dedicate this Holi to the nation’s heroes, acknowledging that their vigilance ensures the country’s collective joy.
