Talwandi Sabo, July 15, 2016: Recently a singing a competition named’ STAR POWER TALENT SHOW’, was organised in Dabwali (Sirsa). In this competition approximately 300 students from Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan participated.
Sukhdeep Singh (Music student) of University College of Basic Sciences and Humanities of GKU snatched gold medal by singing ‘Zindgi-ch-pyar’ song. Poonam Mehta student from same college of GKU secured 2nd position by singing ‘Akhyian di nind’.
Dr. Pawan Garg (UCBS) congratulated the winner students and appreciated the efforts and training practice by HOD(Music) Professor Jaspal Singh.
Dr. N.S. Malhi Vice Chancellor GKU stated while congratulating the students, that GKU is committed for overall personality development of the students via academics, sports, cultural and social activities.
