Ludhiana, April 28, 2026: With the objective of guiding students towards promising career paths, Training & Placement Cell of GGN Institute of Management & Technology, Ghumar Mandi organized a session on opportunities for Company Secretaries for B.Com Hons & BBA students. The event featured talks by distinguished speakers from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), drawing enthusiastic participation from students.
CS Kanchan Bhatia, Chairperson of the Ludhiana Chapter of ICSI, inspired the students by outlining lucrative opportunities in the corporate sector as company secretaries. She also highlighted the pivotal role of ICSI in development of students as responsible professionals. She emphasized about the growing demand for skilled company secretaries in corporate governance, compliance, and advisory roles due to rapid expansion of business and preference of corporate as a form of business organization. Adding depth to the session, Shravan Kumar, In-Charge of the Ludhiana Chamber of ICSI, provided a comprehensive overview of the CS syllabus and fee structure, enabling the students to make informed decisions about pursuing this qualification.
