Gandhi Jayanti celebration at Ivy World School

Jalandhar, October 2, 2023: Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society celebrated Gandhi Jayanti.

 
“You must be the change you want to see in the world”- Mahatma Gandhi. The patriotic occasion of Gandhi Jayanti highlighted the values and principles of the father of the nation – Mahatma Gandhi also fondly known as Bapu ji. Ivyians organized a special assembly wherein the students expressed their views on his life teachings.

 
The students presented a tribute to Gandhi Ji through a series of events which included thoughts and quotes, chanting bhajans, a dance performance and a teacher talk about his beliefs and ideas. Everyone payed homage to his tireless efforts towards the freedom of the country. Gandhi Jayanti celebration was a great way to emphasize the importance of truth and non-violence amongst the students.
 

The President, K K Vasal, the Chairman, Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, the Vice President,  Ena Vasal, the CEO,  Raghav Vasal and the Director, Aditi Vasal expressed pride in the young Ivyians' unparalleled enthusiasm to pay homage to our patriotic leader.

 
The Senior Principal, S. Chauhan applauded the participants for highlighting the values of our culture. She further added that such presentations will undoubtedly inspire and motivate young minds to follow the path of truth and peace and will inculcate in them values like courage, bravery and kindness.
