Ludhiana, May 16, 2016: The faculty and students of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) expressed grief over sad demise of Dr Rantej Singh Gill, a former scientist as well as student of PAU. Dr Gill served at Centre for Communication and International Linkages (CCIL), PAU for 25 years. As a student, he won many competitions in wrestling. A one minute silence was observed at CCIL for the peace of departed soul.
Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, PAU expressed his heartfelt sorrow over the demise of Dr Gill and said that his services to the farming community will always be remembered. He is survived by a son and a daughter. The antim ardas of Dr Gill will be held on May 22 (Sunday) at Gurdwara Sahib, Jawaddi.
