FORE School welcomes incoming batch of 2020-22

New Delhi: FORE School of Management, New Delhi, welcomed the new batch of management students in a virtual induction ceremony. The engaging event attended by students, faculties, staff and alumni which was the first ever online induction ceremony,  witnessed a new era in the history of the management institute. 


Over 400 students, from different batches of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (FMG-29th batch), Post Graduate Diploma in - International Business Management (IMG-14th batch), Post Graduate Diploma - Financial Management (FM-3rd batch) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Big Data Analytics (BDA - new batch) attended this on Monday, August 10, 2020.


Prof. (Dr.) Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dean (Academics), welcomed the students comforting and reassuring their decision to go ahead for the management programme amid difficult conditions and global pandemic. 


The Induction Oath was conducted by Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, followed by a brief address by Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, Chairman, FORE School.

Dr. Das welcomed the distinguished alumni and urged the students to enlarge their objectives from becoming ‘successful in life’ to adopting a holistic approach towards being better human beings along with developing business skills which essentially is the mantra to lead a happy and successful life.


Distinguished alumni, Mr. Samik Roy, Country Head - Modern Workplace, Microsoft India and Ms. Pallavi Shome, Chief Operation Officer at Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM), Technology in India cheered up the students further with their sweet memories of their humble beginning and great learning experiences at their alma mater. 


A ‘Vote of Thanks’ was given by Dr. Vinayshil Gautam, Vice Chairman at FORE School, with few key life lessons to the new students he said, “FORE school of management is a rare institution in the country which had precursor activity in the research area even before getting into teaching, which I think is a very distinguished characteristic of FORE School”.


This batch of 2020-22 at FORE School of Management, is a well diverse batch with33% of students coming from various industry experiences and decent gender diversity ratio with 38% girl students.


The premiere institute which released the final placement report a few months back for the PGDM, PGDM IB and PGDM FM batch 2018-20, for 353 students, recorded 126 recruiters of which 48 were first time recruiters, with highest CTC offer of Rs. 20 Lakh per annum and average CTC offer of Rs. 10.6 Lakh per annum.
