Ferozepur, October 15, 2015: A meeting of Nambardar Union, Ferozepur was held under the convenership of Rajesh Khanna, Nambardar, General Secretary of Nambardar Union, Ferozepur.
In the meeting the members expressed their resentment over state government’s decision to not include any nambardars in the advisory committees constituted at district level.
Rajesh Khanna said that in the previous meeting with Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had assured them that the nambardars will be included in the advisory committees. “However, it seems that the government has eaten its words”, he added.
The union leaders demanded that the fulfillment of promises made earlier by the state government by adding nambardars of Ferozepur Tehsil in newly constituted committees to the government.
