Famous Sarod player from Uttarakhand, Samit Tiwari, performed Sarod 

Jalandhar, March 13, 2022: Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar is always committed to the holistic development of the students, due to which the activities at the college continue uninterrupted. Famous Sarod player from Uttarakhand, Samit Tiwari, performed Sarod at the Post Graduate Department of Music under this serieson Saturday. 

Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Dr. Palwinder Singh, Dean Cultural Affairs and Head, PG Department of Music. Prof. Sukhdev Singh welcomed artist Samit Tiwari with a bouquet of flowers. Samit Tiwari's performance mesmerized the audience. 
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, after listening to the performance of Sarod, said that Lyallpur Khalsa College respects such unique performers and students should also learn something from this unique performance. He said that such artists are a source of inspiration for the younger generation. 

Prof. Gurchetan Singh, with tabla, accompanied Samit Tiwari in this soul soothing performance. Apart from this, Manjog Singh, a student of the department, also gave a solo tabla performance which was appreciated by the audience. 

At the end of the program, the head of the department Prof. Sukhdev Singh thanked the guests and students. The role of stage management was played by Prof. Prabhdeep Kaur. 

On this occasion Prof. Rupali, Mansa Singh and Jaita Singh, a former artiste student of the department and many students were also present.
