Expert lecture  on Creating Hope Through Action

Chandigarh, September 13, 2023: In line with vision of PU-ISSER , an expert lecture  on Creating Hope Through Action was organised. The key speaker, Dr. Krishan Kumar Soni, from the Department of Psychiatry, PGIMER, delivered an interactive lecture focusing on various topics of paramount importance like suicide: stigma, risk factors, warning signs, prevention and management. Professor Seema Vinayak,  Director of program stressed on need to open up and talk about any mental health issue just like  physical ailments. A pledge by participants to make every effort to prevent suicide and to spread awareness about suicide prevention marked the end of the event.
