English Rhyme Recitation Competition organised by DRV DAV Centenary Public School

Jalandhar, August 10, 2023: English Rhyme Recitation Competition was organised by DRV DAV Centenary Public School, on 8 August, for the students of class Lkg.

Competitions play a significant role in shaping and motivating individuals to perform to the best of their capabilities and learn varied skills that aid their all round development.

DRV DAV Centenary Public School believes in the overall development of their students which include language development, cognitive development and emotional development. With an objective to provide an opportunity and platform to the budding poets of the pre primary wing , an English Rhyme Recitation Competition was organised on 8 August, 2023 for the students of class Lkg. Rhymes help children to experience the rhythm of a language. They learn to speak with voice modulation, expressions, confidence and actions.

The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The tiny tots came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm. The younglings enjoyed the beauty of expression, action, thoughts and the music of words while reciting in their marvelous attire and props. The young poets enthralled the audiences with their articulation and memory skills while reciting rhymes.

Judge Karman Kaur applauded and appreciated the performance of each of the participants and hardwork done by their teachers and parents to train them with all the qualities required for the recitation.

Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir congratulated all the winners and appreciated the participants as well. He further said that such competitions are a splendid opportunity for the students to gain confidence through stage exposure.
