Empowering Futures: CMRIT MBA Students Executes Impactful Initiative at Kuguru Government School

Bengaluru, January 12, 2024: Students from the CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) conducted a transformative school outreach program at the Government School in Kuguru village. This remarkable initiative, led by the first-semester MBA students, aimed at enriching the lives of school students and fostering a positive impact on education, health, and well-being.

Led by the MBA students, the program showcased exceptional teamwork in financial resource generation through a crowdfunding initiative within the institution. Funds raised were judiciously utilized to procure essential items such as saplings, notebooks, globes, competitive exam books, biscuits, chocolates, pens, and pencils.

The educational aspect of the initiative featured the creation of engaging and informative charts covering subjects from Arts and Science to Commerce streams. These charts, including topics related to UPSC exams, CET for Engineering and Medicine, and information about the Armed Forces, were handed over to the school for future use.

Integral to the outreach was the incorporation of hygiene awareness and counseling, including the development of a 'Good Touch and Bad Touch' chart. One-to-one career counseling sessions for 6th and 7th standard students contributed to fostering awareness about personal boundaries and career opportunities.

The School Outreach Program yielded positive outcomes, including goal-setting sessions, sensitization about 'Good Touch and Bad Touch,' fostering a competitive spirit among younger students through engaging games, and contributing to environmental sustainability by planting fruit-bearing saplings.

The CMRIT-MBA students received heartfelt appreciation from the School Head Mistress for their transformative outreach program, highlighting the enduring impact on the students' lives.
